Karen Stewart

I am a thoughtful, understanding and loving person who does my best to remain present and awake; balanced and aware.

Karen Stewart is a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Specialist. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Colorado since 1994, an alumni of the Graduate School of Social Work, University of Denver. Karen has over twenty-five years working in the fields of mental health, HIV/AIDS and addiction. Ten of those years have been working with Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF)/Doctors Without Borders throughout Asia and Africa as a Mental Health Officer and Coach. Karen has a private practice consulting and training on mental health issues within the humanitarian aid arena and completion of psychiatric evaluations with refugees seeking asylum in the United States. In addition, Karen is an Adjunct faculty member with Graduate School of Professional Psychology, International Disaster Psychology Program, University of Denver, Denver, CO and an Associate Trainer with RedR UK.
