Karen Zgoda, MSW, LCSW, ABD, is a doctoral student at the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. Her research interests are innovative social work practice, technology in social work including the effects of information communications technologies (ICTs) such as the Internet, social media, and mobile technologies, poverty and class, social entrepreneurship, social informatics, socioeconomic development, and community practice.
