Karissa Lewis is a Black radical farmer, organizer, mother and wife. she is a member of Black Lives Matter, Bay Area Chapter and the BlackOUT Collective, and is the Interim Executive Director at the Center for Third World Organizing. She believes centering joy is as necessary as centering strategy, and has committed her life to bringing both to the movement.
