Kat Griffith

Member, Illinois for Sound AIDS Policy

Kat Griffith is a member of Illinois for Sound AIDS Policy, a group of 16 volunteer advocates who are working to develop, nurture, and support statewide HIV policy and advocacy in Illinois and the United States. Kat is also Policy Co-Chair and Steering Committee member of the U.S. Positive Women’s Network, a national membership body of women that advocates for HIV policies and programs at the local, state, and national level. As a woman living with HIV for 20 years, Kat has worked around the topic of HIV for nearly two decades. She is also a first-year graduate student in the Masters of Social Work Program at Illinois State University.
