Kate Casas

After working as a campaign strategist with the National Low Income Housing Coalition in Washington, DC, Kate was accepted into Teach for America in Saint Louis. Following her time in the classroom, Kate accepted a position at Urban Strategies, LLC. In 2011, Kate become the State Policy Director for the Children's Education Alliance of Missouri and the Children's Education Council of Missouri. In 2014, she joined the Gate Way Group, a division of Pelopidas, LLC as a lobbyist. She is also very dedicated to her community, where she serves on the Board of Directors for the Confluence Academies and Grand Center Arts Academy, is involved in Teach for America’s Alumni Network and was in the 2013-2014 Leadership Saint Louis Cohort. Kate was also 2015 Zhi-Xing Eisenhower Fellow and spent a month in China studying its government, education system, and culture.
