Kathleen Brenzel

Kathleen Brenzel is Garden Editor of Sunset Magazine (www.sunset.com). Born in Santa Monica, California, she spent summers in the Pacific Northwest and learned early on to love the differences between the cool forests around Puget Sound and balmy, palm-lined canyons of home. While overseeing the magazine’s garden content, Kathleen has edited numerous books, most recently the ninth edition of the New Sunset Western Garden Book and The Sunset Western Garden Book: The 20-Minute Gardener. The New Sunset Western Garden Book was recently released as an app, which debuted as the number two lifestyle app on the iTunes app store.
