Wedding innovator, Kathryn Hamm, is the President of GayWeddings.com, the leading online boutique and resource dedicated to serving same-sex couples since 1999. Kathryn is also an Education Expert for WeddingWire and is the co-author of the groundbreaking book, "The New Art of Capturing Love: The Essential Guide to Lesbian & Gay Wedding Photography." She writes and speaks about why same-sex weddings are meaningful and why marriage matters; she consults with engaged couples (gay and straight alike) with her special brand of wedding counseling; and she has led workshops for couples and wedding professionals across the U.S.

Kathryn holds an M.S.W from the Catholic University of America and an A.B. in Psychology from Princeton University. Prior to becoming the President of GayWeddings.com, Kathryn spent 10 years as an educator and school administrator in the Washington, D.C. area. Recently, after 21 years together, she and her wife got legally married in Washington DC in 2013.
