Katie Ashley

Yoga teacher, mentor, blogger, body image activist and author of Living Life on Purpose based in Charleston, SC

My calling is to help people to view their pasts as powerful moments of inspiration instead of burdens of guilt and shame or reasons to play small or stay in a victim or martyr mentality. I believe that when we truly choose to develop a loving relationship with our whole selves – our bodies, our pasts, our present feelings and emotions, our thoughts, our dreams for the future, our vision of who we were, who we are and who we want to be – that we become infinitely powerful in our own lives and can create a greater positive impact on those around us and the larger world. I believe in living life on purpose. Through my writing, workshops, yoga classes and individual mentoring I offer ancient teachings from a modern perspective in a way that is practical, actionable, and inspiring. My first book, Living Life On Purpose, will be available in late August of 2016. My teachings offer my mentor students, readers and yoga students simple ways to bring their practice off the mat and meditation cushion and into their ever more purposefully lived lives.
