Ken Fallin

Illustrator

Ken Fallin is an illustrator, whose specialty is caricature. He began his career illustrating the ads and posters of "Forbidden Broadway", with a respectful homage to the style of the legendary Al Hirschfeld. This assignment led to a five year stint at The Boston Herald, where he contributed a weekly arts and leisure drawing to the Sunday edition.
National ad campaigns for American Express and Belvedere Vodka followed. Since 1994, Ken has contributed drawings to The Wall Street Journal. He has also done illustrations for The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, and The New Yorker magazine. Ken is presently doing a weekly theatrical drawing for
Playbill.com. In 2010, he was nominated for an Emmy Award for an animated commercial for CNBC. His work is in the permanent collection at The Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
