Physician, healthcare innovator, and cultural enthusiast
Kermit Jones is a primary care physician in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to this he served as a 2012-13 White House Fellow and Navy Flight Surgeon with the Marine Helicopter Squadron, "The World Famous Purple Foxes." He earned his MD and JD from Duke University and his MPA from Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs. He has practiced medicine in India and the Middle East, is a member of the Pennsylvania and District of Columbia Bars, and is conversational in Urdu and Hindi.
