Dr Kevin Childs is a freelance lecturer and writer on art and culture based in the UK. He teaches art history at the Victoria and Albert Museum and has led numerous art historical tours in Italy and London. Kevin also writes on subjects as wide ranging as the Ancient Olympic Games and the relationship between art and justice in the context of the South African Constitutional Court, and the writings of Walter Pater. He has published numerous reviews of the work of, amongst others, Anish Kapoor, Leonardo da Vinci and the Mexican Muralists. He is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and has written for The Times and New Statesman. He is currently working on a book considering the development of the concept of autonomous style in Renaissance art.
