Khurram is an attorney and the author of Contracting Fear: Islamic Law in the Middle East and Middle America (Cascade Books 2015) and The Crescent Directive (Tensile 2011). He writes about religion and Islam in America and has written for several outlets including The Wall Street Journal, CNN's Belief Blog and The Washington Post's On Faith blog. He is a graduate of Emory University and Columbia Law School.
