Kim Vo

Master-colorist to A-list Hollywood

Kim Vo is master-colorist to A-list Hollywood and has a unique and innovative vision of beauty. Rooted in his Vietnamese-French childhood, his artistry with hair and beauty was jump-started in New York and further developed in Beverly Hills.

He began his professional training at The Spot in New York. Later, he moved to Beverly Hills to join the most exclusive salons in the West Coast, Cristophe and Privé. There he served many prominent figures, including Hillary and Bill Clinton. Soon, L’Oréal hired him as a Master Colorist and he traveled to Europe where he began his in-depth study of cutting-edge French technology in the beauty industry.

In 2000, he opened B2V salon in West Hollywood with a roster of celebrity clients, including Britney Spears, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson and Pamela Anderson. He pioneered many now in-vogue techniques used by colorists worldwide, like “American Tailoring,” and hair “dusting.”

Today, Kim Vo is a celebrity himself. Through hundreds of articles and TV show appearances, such as “Extreme Makeover” for ABC, “Daily 10” on E! Entertainment, “Shear Genius” for Bravo®, Plain Jane for the CW, “How Do I Look” for The Style Network, “Saddle Ranch” for VH1, and he is currently in development for his own show which will carry his name, Kim Vo sets the trends and is the hair, beauty and style expert to a global audience of millions.

Kim Vo also brings his expertise on a more personal level with his new state of-the-art salons at the Mirage® Las Vegas, the Montâge® Hotels in Beverly Hills and Laguna Beach, CA., with all locations dedicated to the most luxurious and individualized experience. And for millions more, Kim Vo recently launched the Kim Vo® product line to bring the product home and to fine salons worldwide.
