Kimberly Butler has photographed hundreds of celebrities and world leaders including five U.S. presidents. Her credits include book covers of New York Times’ Best Sellers and gallery shoots for major television and cable networks including ABC, NBC, FOX, Lifetime, and Disney. Ms. Butler has also been a regular contributor to PEOPLE Magazine for more than a decade.
In addition to her celebrity portraiture, Kimberly has traveled extensively in the Middle East and the former Soviet Union as a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker- in Jordan, Jerusalem, Gaza, and Chechnya. She has photographed and interviewed members of the Jordanian Royal Family, the Palestinian Authority, and the Israeli government—who recognized Ms. Butler for her humanitarian work with the Jewish Agency at the 3,000 Year Anniversary of Jerusalem and commended her for her heroism and bravery in the FSU.
For the past ten years Ms. Butler has been the creative force behind the American Library Association’s popular Celebrity “READ” poster series, exhibited nationwide in public schools and libraries.
A native New Yorker, she graduated with honors from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
