Founder & EVP of Culture and Corporate Citizenship, POPSUGAR Inc.

As EVP of culture and corporate citizenship for POPSUGAR Inc., Krista is responsible for perpetuating the company’s values throughout the organization, ensuring clear and consistent internal communication, and designing and implementing the company’s corporate citizenship efforts across its three businesses: POPSUGAR, ShopStyle, and Must Have. Krista helped found POPSUGAR in 2006 alongside Lisa and Brian Sugar. Prior to her current role, Krista was EVP of editorial operations and worked alongside Founder and President Lisa Sugar to build POPSUGAR’s editorial team, which now consists of over 100 content creators. Krista also previously served as POPSUGAR’s VP of People. Prior to joining POPSUGAR, Krista worked at San Francisco investment bank Savvian Advisors, where she advised both public and private companies in M&A transactions and private equity financings. Prior to Savvian, Krista served as finance director at Sugar Media, a digital media software company, acquired by 2Wire in October 2003. Krista earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Washington. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two sons and is actively involved in Bay Area nonprofit group Tipping Point.
