Kristin Garrity Şekerci is a Research Fellow at the Bridge Initiative, a Georgetown University research project on Islamophobia. Her research focus include the racialization of Muslims (and those perceived to be), gendered intersections of Islamophobia, and the centering of Black Muslim histories and narratives in the U.S. Garrity Şekerci received her Master’s degree from American University in Ethics, Peace and Global Affairs.
