I was born and raised in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, PA. I completed my under-grad in 2006 at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA where I majored in English and Secondary Education. I taught at Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote, PA before making the move the the public school system in 2008 when I took a position at Spring-Ford Area High School. In 2011, I earned my Master's degree in Educational Development and Strategies, married the love of my life, then moved six hours away to the small city of Bradford, PA, home of the Zippo lighter. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts at Floyd C. Fretz Middle School. My husband and I have two beautiful children, Kathleen, 4, and Ellis Atticus, 2. Outside of teaching, momming, and wife-ing, I am a fitness and nutrition enthusiast who loves to write, knit, and read. Also wine. I love to drink wine. I spend way too much time on social media.
