Associate Professor of Middle Eastern Studies

Kurt Werthmuller is a scholar of Middle Eastern and Islamic history, with over 20 years of experience living, working, and researching in the region. He holds an M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern & Islamic history from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
