Kyle Thiermann is a 23-year-old pro surfer from Santa Cruz, CA. He is the creator and host of the YouTube series, Surfing for Change. Thiermann’s surfing earned him a spot among an elite group of athletes on the teams of Patagonia, Clif Bar, and Sector 9. Thiermann has been featured in dozens of media outlets worldwide including Surfer Magazine and Discovery Channel. Kyle Speaks at Universities throughout the Country, and has also been a TED Talk speaker. He has won both the Peter Benchley Blue Vision Youth Award and Brower Youth Award.
