Liana Downey is an author, speaker and international advisor dedicated to creating social change. As the CEO of Downey & Associates, Liana leads a global team that helps nonprofit and governments increase focus and change lives. Liana is the author of Mission Control: How Nonprofits and Governments Can Focus, Achieve More and Change the World, and has taught leadership at NYU's Wagner School. Previously, led the social sector practice of McKinsey & Company in Australia and was a special advisor to the Australian Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. Liana has a Stanford MBA (Arjay Miller Scholar) and serves on the Board of Room to Grow, an innovative nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of families living with poverty.
