Landon Jones is an author and magazine editor. He was the editor of People magazine from 1989-1997 and the editor of Money from 1984-1989. His books include William Clark and the Shaping of the West (Hill and Wang, 2004) and The Essential Lewis and Clark (Ecco Harper Collins, 2000). His book, Great Expectations: America and the Baby Boom Generation (Coward McCann, 1980), coined the phrase "baby boomer" and was nominated for the American Book Award in Nonfiction.
