Latoya Shauntay Snell is a HOKA ONE ONE athlete, road and trail ultra runner, obstacle course racer, road cyclist and plus size adventurer from Brooklyn, NY. Outside of her fitness work, she is a freelance chef, photographer and founder of Running Fat Chef -- a personal and uncensored fitness and food blog about her experience as a plus size female athlete of color. Latoya is a contributing writer to several platforms such as Runner’s World, Huffington Post, Gear Junkie and The Root. She is also the co-host of The Long Run with Martinus and Latoya under the 300 Pounds and Running podcast. Latoya is noted for her advocacy for the body positivity movement through her scribes about fat shaming, LGBTQ rights, fitness at every size, awareness about chronic disabilities and journalized several personal narratives about her fitness endeavors. Within a five year span, she’s completed close to 200 running and obstacle course racing events.
