Laura Hutchings is the CEO of Populus, a residential energy efficiency firm based in Boulder, Colorado. Populus is a leading provider of residential energy advising services and has received national recognition for its success in implementing residential energy efficiency programs.
Prior to joining Populus, Laura practiced as a corporate litigator at an international law firm, where she represented clients in complex commercial disputes.
Laura graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law with an honors concentration in Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a dual major in anthropology and English literature.
