Mom, writer, teacher, living the good life on a buffalo farm with my husband, kids, parents, blogs at charmingfarming.com

I am a wife and mother of four living on a buffalo ranch in the Ozark Hills where I also raise chickens, ducks, and a turkey. We have an old fashioned, extended family lifestyle with my parents living in a granny flat above our home. The arrangement makes for a close-knit, sometimes crazy life, but we love it. I am also a part-time high school speech and drama teacher and a freelance writer. I started a farm blog, but soon realized that I don't know much about farming, so I write about faith, family, food, and the funnier side of life instead. My children range in age from 19 to 11, so between baseball tournaments, band concerts, keeping a houseful of hungry teens and tweens fed, and helping my parents navigate technology, I don't have a lot of time for hobbies, but in my spare time, I like to knit, read (usually something my kids are reading), and bake. My writing can be found on Scary Mommy/Club Mid, Shine Catholic, and my blog, charmingfarming.com
