Laura Dunn is a third year law student at the University of Maryland focusing on victim’s rights. In 2007, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Legal Studies and Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. While in college, Dunn became an outspoken survivor and activist on the issue of campus sexual assault. Since then she has helped pass local, state and federal legislation to prevent and address sexual violence. Dunn is also the founder of SurvJustice, an organization dedicated to empowering activists and assisting survivors in seeking justice for sexual violence.
