Lauren Berninger

Lauren Berninger is the founder and director of Finding the Fabulous, a non-profit that connects 8-12 year old girls with high school and college role models to prove that uniqueness should be inspiring, not inhibiting. For her work with Finding the Fabulous, she was awarded the 2011 DoSomething.org Be Amazing grant and the 2011 NYU Reynolds/Youth Venture Be A Changemaker Challenge Award. Her organization was recently featured on the television series "Live Life and Win!" She is also the editor of ClaudiaChan.com, a for-purpose women's media brand and voice that interviews and celebrates women leaders, visionaries and change makers of the 21st century. As of December 2012, she will be an NYU graduate with a B.A. in individualized study focused on creative writing, curriculum development and social entrepreneurship.
