Lauren Kay is a Brown 2011 grad, where she majored in American Studies with a focus in love. Lauren dove into the Internet world at the age of 14, when she founded the fansite willforte.net and learned how to use BR tags. At 19, a Craigslist post landed her the gig of accidentally creating SmartSitting, which has since become NYC's top babysitting agency, winner of two Red Tricycle awards. She is currently the CEO of The Dating Ring, a company that combines matchmaking and technology to get people offline and dating, and which ironically, leaves Lauren with no time to date.
