Washington DC resident, new mother, and paid family leave proponent

Lauren Kunis is a new mother and volunteer with the DC Paid Family Leave campaign. In her day job, she works in international development with a current focus on the Middle East. She lives in the Bloomingdale neighborhood in Washington D.C. with her husband Jed and daughter Emmeline, who is named after Emmeline Pankhurst, a British political activist and leader of the movement to help women win the right to vote. All opinions expressed are her own.
