Lauren Rankin is a reproductive rights activist and freelance writer whose work has appeared at Rolling Stone, Salon, Cosmopolitan, and many others. She has volunteered as clinic escort at an independent abortion clinic for two years and has worked with the New Jersey Abortion Access Fund to provide financial assistance to those who are seeking a safe and legal abortion. She is also a board member of A is For, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women's reproductive rights and ending the stigma against abortion. She has a Master of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies from Rutgers University.
