Lee A. Jacobus


Lee A. Jacobus is the author of "Crown Island: A Novel and Volcanic Jesus", a collection of short stories set in Hawaii, and the best-selling college textbooks, "A World of Ideas" (Bedford Books), "The Bedford Introduction to Drama" (Bedford books), "The Humanities Through the Arts" (McGraw-Hill), "Substance, Style, and Strategy" (Oxford UP), and many more academic titles. His plays, "Fair Warning," "Long Division," and "Dance Therapy" have been performed in New York and elsewhere. He is a member of the Authors Guild and the Dramatists Guild. He lives in Clinton, Connecticut and is Professor of English Emeritus at the University of Connecticut, Storrs.
