Leigh Flayton served as editor-in-chief of Arrive magazine for over a decade, and she has contributed to The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, Salon, Lenny and Refinery29, among other publications. Leigh is also a playwright, and in May 2015, Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City hosted a reading of her play, The Generator, as part of its TONGUES reading series. In April 2016, her play Too Close to Home was given its first industry reading and starred Tony Award winner Lena Hall (Hedwig & The Angry Inch). Leigh lives in New York City.
