Dr. Leslie Mancuso is the president and CEO of Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University that for over 40 years has worked with front-line health workers to design and implement low-cost, innovative solutions to strengthen the delivery of health services to vulnerable women and their families.
Dr. Mancuso is a recognized international business leader with 25 years of experience in overseeing Jhpiego’s longstanding relationships with international agencies, foreign governments and ministries of health, nursing, midwifery and medical schools and local non-governmental organizations. She has track record of success in bringing accountability and navigating changes in the international nonprofit world.
Dr. Mancuso received her degree in nursing from Southern Connecticut University and her master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
