Physician interested in women's health, specifically breast cancer. Hobbies include the arts.

I am a physician at Yale University, where I am a professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Chief of Breast Imaging. I have dedicated my career to breast imaging. I am specifically interested in advancing current breast imaging techniques, with the use of 3D mammography. My colleagues and I are studying ways to limit the excess false alarms and improve breast cancer detection and diagnosis with current imaging techniques. I feel that a balance of work and life is very important and also devote time to my family and to pursuits that include healthy living, exercise, and the arts. I value diversity and feel it is imperative that all people are treated equally and given the same opportunities to pursue a happy fulfilling life.
