Liena Vayzman

Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History, Wesleyan University

Liena Vayzman is Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History at Wesleyan University. She earned the PhD in History of Art at Yale University, completing a dissertation on the French Surrealist photographer and activist Claude Cahun. Liena Vayzman writes on the intersections of visual culture and global justice for Art Practical, X-TRA Contemporary Art Quarterly, Daily Serving, and other publications. Dr. Vayzman was the 2010-12 Gender Equity and Policy Postdoctoral Associate with the Yale Women Faculty Forum. www.lienavayzman.com.
