Frank Ligtvoet (1954) worked in international publishing in Holland and moved to New York in 1996 to become Head of the Cultural Department at the Dutch Embassy. Since 2001 he is a freelance writer. His fields of interest are adoption policy, international cultural relations, diversity issues and literature. He works on a memoir.
