Lily Bevan (from London) has a BA in Social & Political Sciences from Jesus College, Cambridge and a BA in Acting from RADA. She attended the Royal Court Young Writers & NYU Screenwriting programmes and École Philippe Gaulier in Paris. Currently Lily has a new BBC Radio 4 series with Sally Phillips 'Talking to Strangers' (Feb 2016), a TV project 'Mock Tudor' in development with Kudos TV, a solo show 'Pheasant Plucker' at Underbelly, Edinburgh (August 2015) and is currently developing a new British screenplay with writer/actress Emma Thompson. Lily has worked extensively as an actress in London and on tour in the UK including work at the Donmar Warehouse, Wyndham’s Theatre and with Shared Experience. Artistic Director of The London Collective Theatre in the UK, Lily has written, produced and directed at theatres including Trafalgar Studios West End, King’s Head Theatre, Finborough Theatre, Latitude Festival and Playwrights Horizons, New York. She has also worked as a researcher for Alain de Botton's University of Philosophy 'The School of Life' and as a Vinyasa yoga teacher. She was also a semi-finalist for the Funny Women Awards 2014. Lily is represented by Independent Talent Agency.
