mom of 3 boys, occasional blogger, life-long learner finding the gracefully ever-after in everyday life

Worn-in flip flops, sand between my toes, the sounds of my kids laughing, the warmth of family, books so good you can't put them down, music that makes you move, the smell of home cookin' and fresh mountain air...some of my favorite things in life. I have a BA in education and psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (that I'm not currently using as I had anticipated). Instead, I am continuing my education from home as my three boys teach me a thing or two about life and it's true purposes. And occasionally, I write about it. I've taught preschool, kindergarten, and first grade and love learning some of life's most important lessons from kids. My husband and I have been married fifteen years, and I'd marry him all over again if I had the chance. There's always more to the story, nestled behind the story waiting to be told-- connecting us to each other, offering us hope, and inspiring us along the way. That's why I write!
