Lindsay Schubiner is the Advocacy Director at the Center for New Community, a national research and advocacy organization at the forefront of efforts to defeat anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim hate. Lindsay previously served as a Congressional staffer handling housing, health, and immigration policy, and managed advocacy for sexual health and rights at American Jewish World Service. Lindsay has advocated with directly impacted community members for driver’s licenses for all DC residents, regardless of immigration status, and to stop deportations. Lindsay holds a Master of Science degree from the Harvard School of Public Health.
