Lindy DeKoven

Lindy DeKoven was Executive Vice President of Movies and Miniseries for NBC Entertainment and NBC Productions, responsible for Emmy award-winning "Merlin," "Gulliver's Travels," "The Odyssey," "Serving In Silence," as well as "A Woman of Independent Means," "The 60's," "Noah's Ark," and "Crime & Punishment." Prior to that she was a TV executive at Disney and Warner Bros. Following NBC, she was Executive Producer of "Listen Up," a sitcom based on Washington Post columnist, Tony Kornheiser starring Jason Alexander for CBS, and also produced several comedy and drama pilots while on a deal at CBS/Paramount.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed her to the California Commission on the Status of Women, which she chaired. She also served on the California State Parks & Recreation Commission and is currently on the California Film Commission.

Lindy served on the Board of Directors of the Governor and First Lady's Women's Conference of California, the Koreh LA Literacy Group, the Museum of Television Executive Roundtable, The AFI Second Decade Council, The AFI Women's Directing Workshop Advisory Committee, Hollywood Radio & Television Society and Women in Film Executive Committee.

She is currently featured in the documentary, "Miss Representation" written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom and speak to schools and organizations on behalf of the film.

Her first novel, PRIMETIME PRINCESS, which tells the story of Alexa Ross, vice president of comedy development at a fictional broadcasting network, will be released on May 21, 2013.
