Lisa L. Kirchner

Author, Iconoclast

After a long career heading up marketing efforts for international powerhouses like Ketchum, Carnegie Mellon University and the Tribeca Film Festival, Lisa's life took a U-turn. She'd always been into fitness -- her parents owned a gym -- but in 2006 she took a deep dive, moving to India to study yoga and meditation. Today, she shares her passion for living well with viewers on HSN, in the yoga classes and workshops she teaches, and in books and articles she writes. Her work has been featured on NBC, FOX, BBC Radio and NPR. Her writing has appeared in book anthologies, magazines and newspapers including The Washington Post, New York Times and Salon.com. At one time she was simultaneously the dating columnist for an alternative newsweekly, bridal editor for a society rag and the religion reporter for a gay and lesbian newspaper. Her views are not always what you might expect. More at www.LisaLKirchner.com
