Global President and General Manager, Pfizer Oncology

Liz Barrett is Global President and General Manager for Pfizer Oncology. Liz joined Pfizer in 2009 as President of the U.S. Oncology Business Unit and has since held a number of senior positions spanning Europe and North America. Before assuming her current position, Liz was President, Europe for the Global Innovative Pharma Business and Chair of Pfizer’s European Management Team and previously, President of the Specialty Care Business, North America. Before joining Pfizer, Liz held the position of Vice-President & General Manager, Oncology Business Unit at Cephalon, Inc., where she successfully led an integrated business unit and launched the company into oncology.  Her previous experiences include managing Johnson & Johnson’s cancer therapeutics business, leading Worldwide Sales & Marketing for Veridex, LLC, a cancer diagnostics division of J&J and Vice President, Critical Care/Surgery Franchise for Ortho Biotech, another division of Johnson & Johnson. Barrett spent the first 13 years of her career in consumer packaged goods holding multiple positions in sales, sales management and marketing.  Liz has been recognized on numerous occasions for her innovation and creativity as well as leadership both internally and externally including TWIN (Tribute to Women in Industry), Marketer of the Year & HBA Rising Star. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana and a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
