Liz Wilson

Liz Wilson is an independent agricultural development consultant working with Small Foundation, a private philanthropic foundation based in Ireland. Previously she was Deputy Director at Agriculture for Impact, Imperial College London, working with European governments to increase their support for agricultural development, and food and nutrition security in sub-Saharan Africa. Liz has worked for the UK's Department for International Development in Beijing, where she developed projects to pilot climate change adaptation, low carbon development and sustainable urban development strategies in China. She also worked for the humanitarian health NGO Merlin in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the UK, facilitated the participation of African and middle-income country leaders at the G8 summit in 2005, and served as a diplomat in the UK Embassy in China where she analysed China's foreign policy.
