Lori Lee is the founder of Me Fine Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope to critically ill children treated by Children's Hospitals in North Carolina and their families through financial assistance, emotional support and necessary resources. Founded in memory of her son and named as a testament of the two year old’s spirit, “Me Fine” is currently celebrating 12 years of service to over 1000 families from around the world. Lori’s volunteerism through the organization has earned her national recognition as one of L’Oreal Paris’ 2013 Top 10 Women of Worth Honorees and Points of Light’s Daily Award Honorees. Additionally, as an 8 year triple negative breast cancer survivor, Lori volunteers her time mentoring newly diagnosed women facing similar diagnoses. Lori has expanded upon her non-profit work, sharing her story as a speaker, sharing her experiences as a certified life coach, and sharing her thoughts as a blogger. Lori believes, “It’s not so much what happens to you, it's what you do with it afterwards that counts.” She is a North Carolina native and resides with her husband, Folden, III and two daughters, Wilson and Anna Gaites.
