TV presenter, fashion journalist, host of NBC's 'Fashion Star'

Louise Roe is a TV host and fashion journalist who is currently the host of NBC’s hit competition show, Fashion Star. She also fronts Plain Jane on MTV International, a reality makeover show which airs in 66
countries. In 2013, it was announced that she will also co-host Style network’s first ever LIVE show, Pop Style.
Roe has contributed to and been featured in numerous
publications, including Glamour magazine (where she served as Fashion Editor at Large), Us Weekly, People StyleWatch, Vogue.com, In Style UK, Elle UK, Cosmopolitan UK, Lucky, Mens Health UK, Huffington Post, and StylistPick, among others.

Born in the UK but based in LA, she was a host on VogueTV, BBC’s documentary Addicted to Boob Jobs and long-standing style series The Clothes Show, before moving stateside four years ago.
Roe is a regular fashion correspondent on the red carpet during awards season. She co-hosted Access Hollywood’s Golden Globes and Oscars coverage this year, ABC’s live pre-Oscars show in 2012, (a show that drew an audience of over 30m viewers), and also the red carpet at MTV International’s Movie Awards, VMA’s and EMA’s for two years running.
Additionally, she co-hosted E!’s live coverage of the Royal Wedding. As a cast member of MTV’s The City, Roe put her fashion journalism skills to use, hosting trend videos and designer interviews for
Elle.com. She has fronted modeling campaigns for Adidas, Italian fashion label Hogan, Reiss and Bloomingdales, and has appeared on Britain’s Next Top Model, E!’s Chelsea Lately, NBC’s The Nate Berkus Show, GMTV, Project Catwalk, Style Network’s How Do I Look, 10 Things I Hate About Me, and Make Me a Supermodel. Louise launched her namesake clothing line for retail giant HSN, designed to flatter women’s curves, no matter their shape or size. Additionally, she designs a successful
shoes and accessories line for European online retailer StylistPick.com.

Roe has worked as an ambassador for global brands including Maybelline, Express, Range Rover, Chandon, Macy’s, Marks&Spencer, Gap’s Piperlime, Bebe, Sears, Alfa Romeo and Littlewoods (the UK’s third largest online retailer).
She fronts MTV’s ‘Bullied’, a campaign to stop bullying in schools across the globe. She also supports the charity Dressed For Success, and is an honorary fellow at Southhampton’s Solent University where she lectures fashion students twice a year.
