Louise Stigsgaard Nissen is a journalist and writer covering Scandinavia for international media. She has been based in New York, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Beirut and was the Middle East bureau chief for the oldest Danish newspaper, Berlingske. She was a Nieman fellow at Harvard University studying international relations and hold degrees from Denmark and France in literature and journalism. Louise Stigsgaard Nissen will publish her first novel exploring the relationship between the West and the Arab world this summer.
