The Rev. Dr. Lucy Forster-Smith is Sedgwick Chaplain to the University and Senior Minister in the Memorial Church at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. She received her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, NJ. Dr. Forster-Smith has devoted her career as a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) minister to working in ministry in higher education as a chaplain and campus minister. Prior to her post at Harvard she was Campus Minister at the University of Washington, and chaplain at Carroll University (Wisconsin) and Macalester College (Minnesota). She is the editor of "College and University Chaplaincy in the 21st Century: A Multifaith Look at the Practice of Ministry Across America," Woodstock, VT: SkyLight Paths, 2013. She is author of "Crossing Thresholds: The Making and Remaking of a 21st Century College Chaplain," Eugene, OR: Cascade Books, 2015.
