Luka Oreskovic

Luka Orešković is an academic, investor and advisor to the private and public sector. An associate partner at Spitzberg Partners, he heads advisory and investment activities in Central and Eastern Europe. At Harvard University, he is an associate at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science and he co-chaired the Harvard University Center for European Studies’ business and government in Emerging Europe seminar with Harvard Business School professors. Luka previously served on the economic council of the President of Croatia and advises the European Council on Foreign Relations. He was a visiting lecturer at the Energy Delta Institute, the leading global energy business school, and was previously a columnist for the Moscow Times and European Energy Review. Luka has co-authored two books, published by Springer and Lynne Rienner, and his analyses regularly appear in the Financial Times, The Economist, Foreign Policy, The Moscow Times, Huffington Post, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, South China Morning Post, Roubini Global Economics, Times of India, Sky News and other fora. Luka graduated from Harvard College with a concentration in history and Central and Eastern European studies.
