J. Luke Wood, PhD, is a social scientist in the field of education. Wood is an Associate Professor of Community College Leadership at San Diego State University (SDSU). He is also the Director of the EdD Program in Community College Leadership and Joint PhD Program in Education with Claremont Graduate University. Dr. Wood is also Co-Director of the Community College Equity Assessment Lab (CCEAL). Wood’s research focuses on factors affecting the success of boys and men of color in education with a focus on the community college context.
