Lynn Chwatsky

Vice President Initiatives and Partnerships, Community Engagement, Sesame Workshop

Lynn Chwatsky is responsible for overseeing the execution of various Sesame Workshop initiatives that reach beyond television into local communities, schools, health and childcare settings to address the unmet needs of children and the people who care for them. She is also responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with project advisors, strategic partners and organizations to help guide projects from their inception to the integration at the national, regional and local level. Lynn has overseen several key projects including Sesame’s extensive military families Initiative, helping children coping with the death of a parent, supporting children who have an incarcerated parent and helping children with a life-threatening illness. In 2012 she was awarded the Outstanding Civilian Service Medal by the United States Army.



Chwatsky formerly was a Project Director at Sesame Workshop, responsible for the development, launch and branding of new Workshop properties including Dragon Tales, Sagwa, The Chinese Siamese Cat and Tiny Planets, as well as the Marketing Manager for the Workshop’s Online Group. Prior to joining Sesame Workshop, Chwatsky was an Account Executive at Grey Advertising managing multiple clients including Merck and Procter and Gamble. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
