M. Brinton Lykes, PhD, is Professor of Community-Cultural Psychology at Boston College where she is also Associate Director of the Center for Human Rights and International Justice, and Chair of the Department of Counseling, Applied Developmental, & Educational Psychology in the Lynch School of Education. She co-directs the Migration and Human Rights Project at Boston College. In 2012, she received the American Psychological Association’s Ignacio Martín-Baró Lifetime Peace Practitioner Award and in 2013 she was awarded their International Humanitarian Award.
